No, meals are not included with the Main House booking. The house is self-catering with a fully equipped kitchen for meal preparation. Guests are responsible for their own meals during their stay. Upon request, we can arrange for a private chef to prepare local and international dishes for an additional charge, or recommend nearby restaurants and food delivery services.
We welcome pets upon request. If you wish to bring your pet, please let us know at the time of booking. You will need to complete a separate pet agreement form prior to your arrival, and certain conditions may apply. We ask that pets are well-behaved, do not disturb other guests, and are kept off furniture and beds. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
The Main House features stand fans in all rooms and large open windows designed for natural ventilation with the coastal breeze. The traditional Swahili architectural design helps maintain comfortable temperatures throughout the house. The high ceilings, makuti (palm leaf) roofing, and coral stone walls naturally regulate indoor temperatures even during warmer months.
